Star
Trek
A Totally
Unofficial Site
I
just love Star Trek and its incarnations. Yes, there are sometimes
some really bad episodes, but hey, it could be worse.
Now,
what I want to show you may not be suitable for non-Trekkies. If
you are easily offended, too bad.
Ok, so what you
will see isn't offensive at all. Sorry.
Technical
Information
A
while ago, I did a report on the chemistry and physics of Star Trek.
I did most of it with the help of one book, The Physics of Star Trek,
which I recommend to all those who want to understand more about the way
the show works, or the plausibility of it all. I'll get this stuff
up and on the Web just as soon as I can. It has a lot to do with
the warp drive and the transporters, and a bit about the computer systems.
Again, many thanks to Lawrence M. Krause, along with Rick Sternbach and
Michael Okuda. Those guys are the whizzes behind Star Trek's many
technical ... uhh.. thingies.
Chemistry, here we come!!
